Chocolate Danish Butter Cookies 巧克力牛油丹麦曲奇

Chocolate Danish Butter Cookies 巧克力牛油曲奇饼干

These danish butter cookies are the easiest cookies that I had ever made, no creaming of butter, the mixing can be done in a single bowl, no electrical mixer needed... you only need- bare hands! You don't even need a strong hand, if you can do a gentle massage, that's it! Thinking of it as massaging the cookie dough, easy peasy.

Well, it does require one thing- piping skill. You don't need to be an expert of it though, as long as you can squeeze out the dough from the piping bag then you are strong enough for this task. I find this a fun  task especially if you are doing it with kids. They can simply come out with the most genius shape that you can ever think of. Alphabets are a good idea too! Kids get excited over little surprise like this.

However, if you are making these as gift, you probably want all the cookies in uniform shapes and sizes. I learnt it the hard way when I found my tray of cookies came out with some of them half baked while others with burnt marks (Oh well, there is a first time with everything right?).

Fortunately, this problem can be easily solved, the cookie dough in this recipe is soft enough to be used with cookie press, which is a huge saver, because cookie press produce cookies in consistent size and shape. The cookies will come out from oven evenly cooked and look presentable enough to be packed as gifts or even to be sold.

Tempted? It sure suit lazy people like me.
